Antibody-based PCR Hot-start for any Taq DNA polymerase!AccuStart Taq Antibody is a mixture of high avidity, neutralizing monoclonal antibodies for Taq DNA polymerase. This additive provides an automatic hot-start when mixed with your Taq DNA polymerase.Non-specific extension of primers at low temperatures is a common cause of artifacts and poor sensitivity in PCR. AccuStart Taq Antibody binds to the polymerase and keeps it inactive before thermal cycling. During the first PCR cycle, the antibodies irreversibly denature, releasing fully active DNA polymerase. The AccuStart automatic hot-start enables specific and efficient primer extension in the PCR process with the added convenience of room temperature reaction assembly.AccuStart Taq Antibody can be used with native or recombinant preparations of Taq DNA polymerase as well as various engineered or proteolytic forms of the enzyme, including Stoffel Fragment, or other Klenow-fragment analogs of Taq DNA polymerase.
