qScript™ XLT cDNA SuperMix – Out performs ALL first-strand kits on the market
qScript™ XLT cDNA SuperMix – Setting a new standard for reproducibility, specificity, speed and convenience in qPCR and RT-PCR applications.
- Improved performance over traditional reverse transcriptase’s
- Broad linear dynamic range
- RNase H minus RT = higher yield = higher sensitivity
- Ability to reverse transcribe difficult sequences resulting in improved representation of problematic sequences and longer first-strand product
Unmatched Sensitivity
Fig 1. (Click to enlarge) Comparison of cDNA synthesis from Brain tissue using qScript™ XLT cDNA SuperMix (Blue, Quanta BioSciences) and SuperScript® VILO (Red, Life Technologies). Using Quanta’s original qScript cDNA SuperMix as a control, the ΔCq (change in cycle threshold) is shown for each of 96 genes. The results indicate XLT beats VILO by at least a full cycle.
The vision of Quanta Biosciences is being realized through Quanta’s current and planned portfolio of next generation qPCR products with unparalleled performance characteristics.
Scientific founders of Quanta have a legacy of innovation and achievement in developing amplification enzymes. They led the development of pioneering amplification reagents such as SuperScript® RT-PCR Systems and Platinum®Taq, during their tenure with Life Technologies (GIBCO/BRL) and later as Invitrogen (Life Technologies). It is exactly this depth and breadth of experience and unique insight that has enabled Quanta to build a portfolio of outstanding qPCR reagents.

Between 2001 to 2007 Quanta has been successfully providing its products to the research community through a manufacturing relationship with Bio-Rad Laboratories. Again, familiar brands such as iScript™, iQ™ SuperMix, and iTaq™ were developed by Quanta’s founding scientists.
The relationship with Bio-Rad has expired and now Quanta is excited to bring their next generation qPCR, and associated products, directly to life science and drug discovery researchers.
Through their current collection of high performance qPCR reagents, qScript™, PerfeCTa™ and AccuStart™ Quanta is helping drive scientific discovery while working on the development of a portfolio of next generation technologies and staying true to its goal of Perfecting qPCR.
