AccuBlue Broad Range dsDNA Quantitation Kit with 9 DNA Standards
The AccuBlue™ Broad Range dsDNA Quantitation Kit offers ultra-sensitive and selective detection of purified dsDNA samples with minimal effects from common contaminants. The kit provides a linear detection range from 2 – 2000 ng with sufficient reagents to perform 1000 assays based on a 96-well microplate format. The 1000 assay size kit includes AccuBlue™ Broad Range Quantitation Solution components and a set of 9 pre-diluted calf thymus dsDNA standards. The trial size kit includes one DNA standard solution with instructions for preparing a set of standards by serial dilution. AccuBlue™ Broad Range Quantitation Solution also is available separately (cat. no. 31009) for customers who wish to use their own DNA standards.
The AccuBlue™ Broad Range assay is superior to the Quant-iT® Broad Range dsDNA and other detection kits by having a similar sensitivity but with more convenience and improved dynamic range. AccuBlue™ can be conveniently stored at 4°C, unlike the Quant-iT® reagents, which must be aliquoted for storage to avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
The kit is compatible with fluorescence microplate readers and spectrofluorometers (λEx/λEm: 350/460 nm). Biotium’s AccuLite 350 Mini Fluorometer (cat. no. E90000) includes a program for use with the AccuBlue™ Broad Range assay.

Two-fold dilutions of calf thymus DNA were assayed using AccuBlue or Quant-IT Broad Range assay kits. AccuBlue has improved linearity and wider dynamic range than the Quant-iT Broad Range.
